Indie Action Network
VolkLibre Indie Action Network provides a place for creative folks to help each other thrive - while building a culture that values our planet and its creatures.
Our network facilitate individuals & groups around the world to improve their communities while tapping into a larger pool of progressive knowledge and ideas. The basic benefits are mutual support, shared resources & information, and collaborative action.
We connect artists, artisans, crafters/makers, musicians, poets/writers, performers, community organizers, environmentalists, homemakers, students, teachers, parents, activists, independent businesses & self-employed individuals, foodies, farmers and superheroes -- really, pretty much anyone interested in arts cultures, sustainable living, social justice or a basic quality of life.
With our groups and forums (explore the 'groups' tab), members may share info & collaborate on projects, incubate ideas, promote your art/craft, form purchasing groups and making/hacking/crafting clubs, participate in ride shares, barter, organize events + more. Those self-employed can share information on green practices, industry tips & resources, as well as team up with others for promotional efforts. For the individual, it's a way to take action or lead; to engage in discussions, form groups, organize campaigns, & publish blogs or videos that are in line with the VL mission.
Please join us in making the change happen.

Hello lovely VolkLibre people, If you'd like to inject your beautiful energy into this VolkLibre project, here are some things we could use your help with:Events/Announcements Person - There are several events going on in the Philadelphia area – as well as other areas around the country where our members live. It would be helpful if we are the events site that people go to for progressive stuff like craft fairs, homesteading workshops, readings, documentary screenings, green drinks, etc.Group Leaders - Start a group of your own or head up an existing group that shares your passion. Start discussions, get people to join and keep them engaged and moderate the activity of the group so that it doesn't get too off-topic or nutty. If it’s a group that is centered on an activity, like crop-mobbing or carrot-mobbing, you would coordinate the mobbing events and promote them as well. It could be really fun, actually.Event Planner/Community Organizer - Being that we want to help our arts…Continue
